Linux "mkfifo" Command Line Options and Examples
make a FIFO special file

Create named pipes (FIFOs) with the given NAMEs. Mandatory arguments to long options are mandatory for short options too.


Usage:

mkfifo [OPTION]... NAME...




Command Line Options:

-m
set file permission bits to MODE, not a=rw - umask
mkfifo -m ...
-Z
set the SELinux security context to default type
mkfifo -Z ...
--context[
like -Z, or if CTX is specified then set the SELinux or SMACK security context to CTX
mkfifo --context[ ...
--help
display this help and exit
mkfifo --help ...
--version
